Past Events: 

Oak Forest invited me to participate in their inaugural literary festival, including a collaboration with Bridget Morrissey. We answered interview questions by students, spoke to students about our work, and we signed autographs as well. 

Bremen High School hosted the Senior Literary Festival for 2024. I was invited to talk about my experience in writing and publishing, as well as my experience in the community. 

I hosted a presentation at my local library focusing on the Dos and Don'ts of publishing, both self-publishing and getting published by a magazine/book publisher/other outlets. We had a turnout of 9 attendees!

Oak Forest invited me to attend the 2025 Senior Lit Festival, marking my second year in a row. I attended with New York Bestselling Author - John Schu. We were able to talk to the high school students, kindergarten students, and a few additional staff members. We signed autographs, answered questions, and even signed the Library Wall of Fame. 

Shepard High School invited me to speak at the Literary Conference. I was able to create a presentation to talk about my writing history but also my mental health journey. 

I attended and did 4 presentations alongside Bridget Morrissey. I also signed autographs, answered student questions, and got to talk to so many people about mental health!
